Technology Support Coordinator for 2021-22 School Year.
The Technology Coordinator responsibilities include the oversight of hardware and software, as well as services that relate to to the school website and communications.
Hardware includes:
Coordinating with outside vendors to maintain the server and all wired services that facilitate in-school learning and maintain two WiFi networks that support all Chromebooks (150+ units) and iPads (about 90 units),some printers, and all the hardware that makes them work;
Maintenance of and staff training to operate printers, copiers, smartboards, projectors, sound systems;
Keeping track of the inventory of desktops, laptops, chromebooks and iPads.
Software includes:
Learning and maintaining various services which require an administrator to understand and perform many different tasks that are different across each platform:
PowerSchool - the central Student Information System,
G Suite for Education - the heart of the academic content delivery system
GoGuardian - Internet safety and security oversight program
Magnus Health - newly implemented Student Health System
ClassLink SSO - Single Sign On program to facilitate access to educational content for students and parents.
Renaissance/STAR Assessment Program - Standardized testing, report generation and Accelerated Reader delivery program
Additionally, we have a multitude of Educational programs being used that require training and support of users, including but not limited to: Google Classroom and all Google suite products, Freckle Math, Rocket Math, Seesaw. Sadlier Oxford online resources, Social Studies and Science online resources, Simple Solutions online , Catholic Brain, Amplify Reading, Epic Digital Library
