Early Childhood Program
The St. Ann School Early Childhood Program provides activities and experiences that will make your child feel secure, confident and loved. The curriculum combines teacher and child guided thematic activities through both group and individual instruction. Children are provided with daily opportunities to explore and grow in the areas of religion, language and mathematics as well as in cognitive, social, motor and self-help skills. Children who attend our Pre-K Program grow through self-discovery and independence in a loving Catholic environment. The program aims to prepare your child for the future years at St. Ann School academically, while also fully embracing the power of play for young children.
St. Ann School is the first school in the nation to receive the Middle States Association's Program of Distinction in Early Childhood Education for our Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten Programs.
The Program of Distinction recognizes St. Ann School's dedication to early childhood education through a rich, child-centered philosophy and best practices focusing an exploration, questioning, creativity and social-emotional development as well as literacy and numeracy. According the MSA-CESS president, "St. Ann School is offering exceptional education for the youngest children in its school, and we are honored to be able to formally recognize school leaders and teachers for their commitment to early childhood education."
Congratulations to the entire Early Childhood Education teaching team and all of the support staff to their program. The 2 year process was extensive. We are incredibly proud of these teachers and what they do for our youngest students and their families!
