In Grades Kindergarten-2, students become familiar with, and learn, the basic components of a computer such as the keyboard, the mouse, the monitor and the CPU. Students are also introduced to keyboarding, word processing, and multimedia software all on a developmentally appropriate level. Use and care of iPads are introduced in technology class, and are woven into the curriculum to enhance learning.

Students in Grades 3-5 learn more advanced keyboarding skills, as well as being introduced to Microsoft Office and the fundamentals of using the Internet as a research tool. iPads are used as a tool for learning and researching in technology class with lessons that are aligned with their classroom curriculum. Digital citizenship is a very important component at this level of the curriculum.  

Students in Grades 6-8 review all previously learned skills, but at a more appropriately advanced developmental level. Students at this level learn the proper methods of using the Internet for research, use Google Apps for Education, and on a daily basis are using iPads and Chromebooks. Digital citizenship is taught and expected of all students. Technology is integrated and used throughout various subjects in Middle School to prepare students for High School.
